Get Involved: People Powered Places Launch Event – 3rd June - East Ham

Newham Council is inviting residents to the People Powered Places Launch Event on Tuesday 3 June, from 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM at East Ham Town Hall.

This free event is a great chance to learn how local people can help decide how £1.6 million is spent on community projects. It kicks off the next round of Newham’s participatory budgeting programme - where residents suggest and vote on ideas to improve the area.

While we may not be attending ourselves, we’d encourage any Upton Village residents interested in getting involved locally to consider going along. It’s a relaxed evening where you can meet other residents, hear about funded projects, and see how to get involved this year.
